We couldn't be there this year to help you celebrate, and missed giving birthday hugs with you so far away, but texting pictures and Skyping as you opened our gifts helped us feel a little part of celebrating with you. What a full day your family had! We're so glad you're in our family!
Remembering your 6th-month birthday. You were hardly as big as the bag!
You've always had a liking for lots of books, and we think you'll like the Character Building Series that we sent you. Grandad and I are so thankful that you love God and His ways. And we know you'll enjoy the Batman shooter toys. You've been all about Batman for several months now. So thankful that Batman fights the bad guys and stands for law and order, and that he's helping you learn to do that, too.

Nana and Grandad are so glad that we've been able to spend time with you these past months before you moved. You seem to have some science interest budding within you, and you and Grandad have had some good times experimenting.
And Nana has enjoyed helping with your homeschool work when you were visiting, although once you learned to read, you can do so much now on your own.
You learned to read, now you read to learn!
And I especially like to see you and Grandad ready for church!
