On the road today to spend a few days with Elizabeth and help her celebrate her birthday. Been going through pictures and recalling the growing up years with her and Laura. I’ve lived in those memories the past month or so and wish our lives intersected more these days. And now there’s sweet little Elijah to see as well.
Traveling through Indiana at the moment and being reminded that there are still areas in our nation that have not abandoned their faith in God. Noticing license plate after license plate with “In God We Trust.” It’s a refreshing reminder in our current culture.
The death of bin Laden causes most of us to reflect on the evil that lurks all around us, fueled by the vengeance of the Enemy of God. It’s indeed a spiritual warfare, with humanity caught in the battles. Victory will always be God’s, and many of us look forward to the day when time on earth is ended and God reigns supreme. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
