Sweet Christmas Memories

Most of the Christmas things are now tucked away in the closet. Mary and Joseph and the Baby Jesus await their stay in the attic. Leftover goodies put in the freezer. Sweet memories linger.

Sweet Elijah.
Sitting on Nana's lap.
Watching the birds out the window.
Organizing Grandad's shirt pocket.
Reading on Grandad's lap.
Reading on Nana's lap.
Picking apples off the Christmas tree.
Putting them back again.
Organizing the potatoes.
Thanks.
All Done.
Sledding down the hill.
Reading on Mommy's lap.
Drawing Nana a picture for the fridge.
Handprints on the mirror.
Can't bear to wash them away.

[We will] tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD,
and his might, and the wonders that he has done.
Psalm 78:4
